Maury BufordOwner & Founder
Maury Buford grew up in small-town Mount Pleasant, Texas, graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in marketing, and married the love of his life, Dana. Selected by the San Diego Chargers in the 1982 NFL Draft, he played nine seasons as a punter for the Chargers, Chicago Bears, and New York Giants.
He earned a Super Bowl ring as the punter for the 1985 Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX and was part of the "Shuffling Crew" in the legendary Super Bowl Shuffle video, "playing" his personal favorite, the cowbell. A devout Catholic, Maury brings that same teamwork and discipline to every Buford project.
